English Language/Civics Program
Keystone offers free English Language/Civics classes for those immigrants preparing for United States citizenship. The course focuses on English (listening, speaking, reading and writing skills), American civics and history, American culture, and interview skills. Students interested in EL/Civics classes should enroll at least six months to one year prior to applying for U.S. citizenship. Naturalized citizens who are interested in registering to vote, voting and/or participating in their community may also enroll in the EL/Civics classes.
EL/Civics students are immediately entered into class. There are no waiting lists for these classes.
If you would like to enroll Keystone’s EL/Civics class, contact Susan Clauser, ESL/Adult Education Coordinator, at 215-723-5430 ext. 115.
