Volunteer Tutors Needed!
Over 600 students are assisted in Keystone Opportunity Center's tutoring program per year. A waiting list class has recently been established to our inability to meet the growing number of students. Due to this increasing volume of students, tutor volunteers are needed now more than ever. These tutors would work one-on-one or in small group instruction with students, who because of job schedules, special needs, or teacher recommendations have requested such services.
Tutors go through a twelve hour training program and then are matched with a student who needs assistance.
Currently, there are 125 people on the waiting list. If you would like to help by becoming a tutor volunteer contact Susan Clauser at 215-723-5430.
